Desktops that follow your users.
Desktops for every role
Give knowledge workers a persistent desktop that keeps their apps, files, and settings between sessions — and serve task workers from pooled, non-persistent desktops cloned from a golden image. Provision either in minutes, scale the pool up and down on demand.
Talk to us →GPU workstations
Attach NVIDIA GPUs (full or vGPU) to deliver hardware-accelerated desktops for CAD, 3D, GIS, video editing, simulation, and ML. Power-user workstations without shipping or maintaining a single physical machine.
Talk to us →Connection broker
A connection broker routes each user to the right desktop and protocol — RDP for Windows, VNC and NoMachine NX for Linux — through a single secure login portal. Reach your desktop from a laptop, tablet, thin client, or browser, anywhere.
Talk to us →Why teams choose Desktop-as-a-Service
Work from anywhere
Your desktop lives in the cloud, not on a device. Staff, contractors, and BYOD users get the same secure environment from any laptop, tablet, or thin client — on or off the office network.
No costly workstations
Trade expensive desktops and refresh cycles for desktops you rent by the month. Turn capital expense into predictable operating cost, and right-size capacity as your team grows or shrinks.
Provision from a golden image
Build a master image once — OS, apps, security baseline — then clone fresh desktops from it in minutes. Onboard a new hire or a whole classroom without touching hardware.
Built-in cost control
Idle desktops auto-lock and power off, so you stop paying for sessions nobody is using. Pooled desktops return to the pool on logout, keeping utilization — and your bill — tight.
Windows & Linux
Run Windows desktops for line-of-business apps and Linux desktops for engineering and research, side by side on the same platform, each with the right display protocol.
Data never leaves the datacenter
Pixels stream to the endpoint; files, code, and credentials stay inside our cloud. Centralized data plus a zero-trust login portal make compliance and remote work far easier to secure.
An open foundation for virtual desktops
Compute — spins up desktop instances on demand and scales pooled fleets up and down
Golden images — store and version master desktop images for Windows and Linux
Networking — per-tenant isolated networks, security groups, and floating IPs
Persistent disks — home volumes that survive reboots and rebuilds for persistent desktops
Self-service — provision, rebuild, and manage desktops from a dashboard or automation
Access — routes each user to the right desktop over RDP, VNC, or NoMachine NX
Acceleration — partition NVIDIA GPUs across desktops, or assign a full GPU per workstation
Orchestration — templated, repeatable rollouts of desktop pools and classrooms

Cloud Desktop questions, answered
DaaS delivers full virtual desktops hosted in WECORE's OpenStack cloud and streamed to whatever device your users already have. We build and run the infrastructure — compute, storage, networking, the connection broker, and the login portal — so you don't build or maintain VDI yourself. Users log in and get a desktop; you manage the images and policies.
A persistent desktop is dedicated to one user and keeps their installed apps, files, and settings between sessions — ideal for knowledge workers. A pooled (non-persistent) desktop is cloned from a golden image at login and returns to the pool on logout — ideal for task workers, labs, and shared kiosks where every session starts clean. You can offer both on the same platform.
Users reach their desktop through a single secure login portal from a laptop, tablet, thin client, or browser. The connection broker picks the right display protocol per desktop — RDP for Windows, VNC and NoMachine NX for Linux — so each workload gets a responsive session, including over modest connections.
Yes. We attach NVIDIA GPUs to desktops — a full GPU for heavy workstations or a vGPU slice shared across several desktops. That covers CAD, 3D and GIS, video editing, simulation, and ML, with no physical workstation to ship or maintain.
Desktops run inside our datacenter and only pixels are streamed to the endpoint — files, code, and credentials never land on the device. Combined with per-tenant network isolation, a zero-trust login portal, and idle-session auto-lock, this keeps data centralized and makes remote work and compliance far easier to control.
DaaS is billed monthly per desktop, with GPU desktops priced as an add-on. Cost control is built in: idle desktops auto-lock and power off, and pooled desktops return to the pool on logout — so you pay for desktops in use, not idle sessions. Scale the pool up for a project and back down when it ends.
Yes. You can start from our maintained Windows and Linux base images or upload your own golden image with your apps and security baseline preinstalled. Update the master once and roll the change out to every pooled desktop on next login.
WECORE manages: the OpenStack platform, hypervisors and GPUs, storage, networking, the connection broker and portal, and managed monitoring. You manage: your desktop images, the apps inside them, users and access policies, and which roles get persistent versus pooled desktops. We run the platform so your team runs the desktops.
